Abstract Submission Guidelines

 

A poster session will be held during one of the lunch time of the meeting. The topics should be in Diagnostic imaging, Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine or PET. Please refer to the guidelines below:

 

A. General conditions
1. Abstracts must be submitted via email to Ms. Hershey Grimaldo at hersheygrimaldo@hamad.qa by November 05, 2018 (23:59 GMT).
2. Abstracts must be submitted in English.

3. Abstracts must be submitted in Word format.
3. Abstracts accepted will be included in the conference booklet.

B. Presenting author and registration
1. At least one of the authors must register for the congress (pay the regular registration fees).
2. Once the decision has been made and the abstract is accepted, the guidelines for the poster submission will be sent.

 

C. Contents of the abstract
1. The abstract should contain a maximum of 350 words excluding the title, author names and affiliations. Figures and tables can be included if necessary. References are allowed within the 350 word limit.
2. The abstract should contain a title, names of authors, their institutions and the contact details (phone number / email address) of the primary author.
3. The abstract must be structured in the following format:
If applicable, include a statement within your Abstract disclosing any "Conflict of Interest" that may exist.

• Purpose

• Methods

• Results

• Conclusion

 

D. Reviewing
1. The Scientific Committee will be in charge of reviewing the abstract.
2. Notification of abstract decision will be sent by email mid of November 2018
3. Email address will be used for contacting you after the review process.
